Lloyd G. Westerman

Prior to founding Westerman Construction in 1992, Lloyd Westerman spent a decade working at large construction management firms - first NICO Construction, where he worked on a number of multi-million dollar corporate interior project, and then at Lehrer McGovern Bovis, where he worked on several projects for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Cloisters. For Lehrer McGovern, Lloyd served as project manager for the $20 million addition to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Later, as project manager for Ment Brothers Ironworks, Lloyd handled projects at The Jewish Museum, The Cloisters, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Lloyd has B.A. from Vassar College in Art History, studied art history in Italy, and completed an internship at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has lectured at the National Conference on Cultural Property Protection and for the Museum Facilities Association.
